Camp Wanocksett is located on the border of Jaffrey and Dublin, New Hampshire

  • From MA Rt. 2 take exit 24 to Rt. 140 North.
  • Follow Rt. 140 to Rt. 12 North in Winchendon, MA
  • Follow Rt. 12 North to Rt. 202 North.
  • Follow Rt. 202 North to Rt. 124 in Jaffrey, NH.
  • Turn left on Rt. 124. Follow Rt. 124 approx. 3 miles
  • Turn right onto Dublin Rd, at the sign for Monadnock State Park.
  • Follow Dublin Rd. approx 3 miles to Camp Wanocksett
  • The Camp Wanocksett parking lot is on the right.

Camp Visitors must check in at the camp office while Camp is in session. When Camp is not in session visitors should check in at the Ranger's house across the street from the camp entrance.

Beaver Day at Camp Wanocksett

Join volunteers and camp staff from around the council to provide support and service to Camp Wanocksett. This is your chance to help maintain our facilities and get the property ready for the over 1,400 Scouts who will be camping this summer.

Who: Anyone! Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, council & district volunteers, alumni. Everyone is welcome!
Cost: Free! Bring your own bag lunch, water bottle, work clothes/gloves, and any tools you think would be helpful

Projects that will be taking place during the beaver day include painting, mowing/field maintenance, cleaning buildings & cabins, setting up campsites, splitting wood, putting in docks at the waterfront, cleaning & waxing boats, minor maintenance tasks, and more. Units interested in providing service on Saturday can camp overnight for free. Your unit can stay for one or two nights. Units must provide leadership consistent with the Guide to Safe Scouting. Please let us know how many participants your unit will be bringing, and which days your unit will be staying over.

Unit Roster & Merit Badge Registration now open

Units attending Camp Wanocksett have two options to complete their unit roster and merit badge registration. All unit rosters and troop registrations are processed at the same time (during Sunday check-in). All Scouts always receive their first choice in merit badges. Paper Registration

Units can complete two forms found at the back of the leader's guide for their unit roster and merit badge registration. These paper forms can be delivered during the Wednesday night pre-camp meeting a week and a half before your arrival at camp, or delivered during your unit's check in on Sunday. Units may use their own paper registration forms, but they must include all of the information found on the camp supplied forms: name, age, time in camp (adults), merit badge registrations (Scouts). 

Online Registration

Units may complete the registration online through the Nashua Valley Council Event's Registration System. Units can begin to register youth and adults at any time, and add/modify/remove information until midnight the day before their arrival at camp. Using the online registration system is quick, easy, and convenient and speeds up the registration process during Sunday check-in. An online video provides a tutorial on how to use the registration system if you have any questions. Online pre-registration does not register your Scouts financially; all financial payments must be sent to the Nashua Valley Council Service Center according to the details in the leader's guide.
