An Overnight at the Museum of Science is a special program that inspires children, to discover science in an entertaining, educational, and interactive way. A typical Camp-In includes a variety of hands-on science activities, science demonstrations, a late night show, a morning activity, an Omni show, and time to explore the Museum with chaperones. Camp-In instructors facilitate fun science activities that enhance Museum exhibits
Each year Nashua Valley Council selects a Distinguished Citizen, chosen for their long standing commitment to our communities, their efforts to improve the quality of life, their tireless leadership in promoting the values that Scouting shares, and the example they set for our youth. Nashua Valley Council is honored to announce the recipient of the 2014 Distiguished Citizen Award:
The award will be presented at a dinner in Mr. Manzi's honor on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Doubletree by Hilton in Leominster, MA. Social hour begins at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. Nashua Valley Council invites the members of our communities and our Scouting family to join us in honoring Mr. Manzi.
SAVE THE DATE! The 31st Annual Oak Hill Golf Tournament, to support Scouting in Nashua Valley Council, will be held on September 8, 2014 at the Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg, MA.

For 23 years the Moore family, Moore Lumber Co. and Billiards Cafe have sponsored this annual golf tournament to support Nashua Valley Council. Over the years this event has raised more than $330,000 to help fund our councils programs and activities, and further our mission of building character, developing participating citizens, and encouraging fitness among our communities' young people.
This year's tournament will be held at Townsend Ridge Country Club on Tuesday June 24, 2014. Opportunities are available for both players and sponsors to help support this event.

Cost: Preregistered: $9 per person (includes dinner).
The 2014 Massasoit District Spring Camporee "Old West Challenge" will be held at Camp Wanocksett. Cost is $9 per person. Fee includes a Chuckwagon Dinner.
