Boy Scout Activities

Boy Scouts prove themselves in an environment that challenges their courage and tests their nerve. After they've been given the proper guidance from those with experience and know-how, they take their own lead, going places they've never gone, seeing things they've never seen, and diving into the rugged world of outdoor adventure, relying on teamwork and character to accomplish what everyone else thinks is impossible. Sound fun? If you're a boy age 11, or at least 10 and have completed the fifth grade, or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award, to 17 years old, the time for a real adventure is now.

When: Jan 23-25, 2015
Where: Leominster Sportsman Association, 1455 Elm St. Leominster, MA 
Cost: Preregistered: Boy Scouts - $8, Webelos $3 (Saturday only) $2/person late fee (after Jan 17).

The Wachusett District Klondike Derby will be held at the Leominster Sportsman Association in Leominster. Scouts are reminded to dress properly for the weather. For preregistered units cost is $8/person. Webelos are invited to come out for the day. Cost for Webelos is $3. $25 preregistration fee will be deducted from your per-person cost at check-in. There will be a $2/person late fee for registrations after January 17.

The Northeast Region, BSA is now accepting applications for individuals interested in serving as unit leaders for the region contingent to the 2015 World Jamboree in Japan. Interviews will be held around the region during February and March. See the brochure and application below for more information. The application deadline is February 15.
