Cub Scout Activities

For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own pinewood derby® car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a family campout, your child will LOVE being a Cub Scout. So if he's in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years old, then it's time for him to have some fun … with the Cub Scouts.

When: January 31, 2015 9 AM - 3 PM
Where: Gardner Fish & Gun Club, 538 Clark St., Gardner, MA 
Preregistration: Scouts - $5, Parents & siblings - $3, Extra patches - $2
Walk-in registration: Scouts - $6, Parents & siblings - $4

The Wachusett District Polar Derby is a day filled with outdoor fun, games, and competitions for dens and packs. A Scouts are reminded to dress properly for the weather. Snowsuits are recommended. Hats, gloves/mittens, and boots are mandatory. No sneakers will be allowed. Online registration is encouraged. Fees will be collected at the door.

An Overnight at the Museum of Science is a special program that inspires children, to discover science in an entertaining, educational, and interactive way. A typical Camp-In includes a variety of hands-on science activities, science demonstrations, a late night show, a morning activity, an Omni show, and time to explore the Museum with chaperones. Camp-In instructors facilitate fun science activities that enhance Museum exhibits
