The past is set in stone.  What is done is done.  The strongest and smartest people on earth can't bring back the past or change what has already happened.  On the other hand, the future has not yet been written.  It is filled with hopes and dreams.  Anything can happen; anything is possible.  However, neither the past or the future are as important as the attitude we carry in the present  The American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson write, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us."

It is my distinct pleasure to announce to you that GML fleeces are on their way!  Soon, you could be the proud owner of a beautiful, soft fleece jacket; complete with the GML logo, and your name on the sleeve.  When I broke the news to the lodge chief, he was so elated that he did a little dance.  "I lodge new fleeces!" he exclaimed.  "They're so soft and comfortable and the fact that I can show off that I'm part of the best lodge in Nashua Valley Council just makes them ten times....no...one hundred times more awesome."

So, if you're as stocked as the chief is about your new fleece jacket, make sure to fill out an order form soon - they will be available by pre-order only!  Forms can be collected at the lodge banquet, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Are you wondering who those "Indian guys" are your tap out were, and how you can become one?  Have you wanted to know more about becoming a part of future ceremonies?  Are you looking to further your participation in the lodge?

If you answered yes, the Gisch team is for you!

Our section, Section NE-1B, is comprised of six lodges in Rhode Island, central Massachusetts, and Cape Code and the Islands.  Section NE-1A is comprised of the six lodges in Maine, New Hampshire, and the metropolitan Boston area.  At the end of the Conclave at Camp Wanocksett in June 2013, the two sections will merge to form Section NE-1.
