This article details the required documents and information that must be provided for all adult leader applications.

New volunteers, entering one of the positions listed below, or current volunteers changing to the one of positions below are required to complete a new Adult Leader Application, in accordance with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America.
All volunteers in any of the positions listed below are required to complete a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) request form, and provide a photo i.d., once during their volunteer service with Nashua Valley Council, in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Effective June 1, 2010 volunteers holding the positions listed below must complete Youth Protection Training before submitting a new application. This training must be renewed every two years. Please see the Q&A on the National Web Site for more information.

In order to process an adult leader application, the following information is required. The application can not be processed without this information.
- Completed application including:
- Unit #
- Date of Birth
- Social Security #
- Position in Unit
- All required signatures
- BSA Background Check form (Page 3 of the Adult Application)
- CORI Form (separate page)
- Photocopy of government issued photo i.d.
- Youth protection training certificate
- Registration fees.
