Thanks to the efforts of Keith Jones, Scoutmaster for Troop 284 Acton, the Nashua Valley Council is working with www.Driveincontrol.com and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office to have a scouting only session of a safe driver class. This is a “High Adventure” event that features actual driving cars at high rates of speed under the tutelage of professionally trained drivers!
Scouts and Scouters who have a learners permit, or a license are invited. There are only 17 spaces available on a first-come basis. The course will be taking place February 23rd from 8-1pm.

Scouting is growing and thriving in north-central Massachusetts. Careful management and a strong volunteer base have enabled Nashua Valley Council to continue to serve a large and diverse group of Scouts. We have accomplished this, in part, because our members and community leaders see the value of Scouting and have helped maintain a strong fundraising base. In 2012 it is critical that we keep this trend going.
