It’s an exciting time to be involved in Scouting. Today more than ever the world needs the lessons that Scouting teaches. Business and government alike need men of high moral standing - leaders, men of character. There is no program better suited to address these real issues and negative influences than the Boy Scouts of America. In fact, since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders of this country, reaching out to youth from all economic, ethnic and religious walks of life that share common values and have a desire to succeed. The member of the Boy Scouts of America learn to live by the twelve points of the Boy Scout law and promise to keep themselves “physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.”
Scouting then is not just a recreational program. Your support of Scouting will help impact the lives of the individuals involved and the community as a whole for years to come. Enclosed you will find information for this year’s Friend’s of Scouting Campaign. Please take a moment to make a tax-deductible contribution following the steps outlined in the brochure. Your donation will go a long way to making sure that the children receive the very best in life.
