It is time to proudly represent GML309 at the Section NE-1B Conclave. Conclave is a gathering of all of the lodges in the section, to appreciate the brotherhood of the Order. Last year at Camp Norse, we had a solid presence, and a group of proud Arrowmen, and this year we hope to increase our contingent. This conclave will feature trainings in the morning, to better yourself, your troop, and the lodge, while have an multitude of activities in the afternoon.
Let our section know that the homeboys from Wanocksett, can show off there true teamwork, ability, and Scouting spirit. This, as every lodge event, will be a weekend of true Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service.
Sealing your membership by becoming a Brotherhood member is a great way to show your commitment and further your experiences with the Lodge. Moving on to Brotherhood membership offers an opportunity to reaffirm one's belief in the high purposes of the Order. Each Brotherhood member commits to even more service to Scouting through the Order.
An Arrowman is eligible for Brotherhood after 10 months of service as an Ordeal member and fulfilling certain requirements.
The Order of the Arrows Jumpstart program is a great way for Arrow men to view and study their requirements.

When: May 18th-20th, 2012. Check in begins at 6PM on Friday, and the Lodge Business meeting ends at 10:30 AM on Sunday.
Cost: $33 if you pre-register by May 13th, 2012. $38 after May 13th or walk-in's at the door. (You can pre-register at events.nashuavalleybsa.org, or by sending in the form before May 13th; calling or e-mailing the Secretary DOES NOT COUNT.) The cost includes dues for the 2012-2013 lodge year.

With the new year upon us, it is time once again to start thinking about an OA election for your unit. GML's election season takes place from January 1 through May 31 of each year.
Your troop's OA Representative should work with the PLC to find dates for an election, and submit a request to the Lodge Elections team. The spring is a busy time for the team, so be sure to request one early!
This summer, Order of the Arrow members from around the country will once again gather together at the National Order of the Arrow Conference ("NOAC"). Over 7,000 Arrowmen will come together to have fun, learn new things, and celebrate the best the OA has to offer. This six-day adventure is unlike any other event in Scouting, and only OA members can participate.
